Using the service

ApnaTrivia lets hosts create quizzes, invite players, run live games, and view results. It is designed for recreational use. Hosts must be adults able to agree to these terms. Children may participate in games with appropriate parent or guardian permission and supervision.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and personal player PINs secure. Do not use another person’s account or player session without permission. Tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Host responsibilities and game results

Hosts choose quiz content, participant names, timing, scoring settings, and who may join. Hosts can manually adjust scores, remove participants, reset questions, reset games, and end games. These actions can change rankings and retained results.

Response times and scores depend on server timing, network conditions, device behavior, and host settings. Results are provided for fun and are not guaranteed to resolve competitions with financial, educational, employment, or other significant consequences. Hosts are responsible for explaining their game rules and any manual adjustments to participants.

Your content and other participants

You retain any rights you hold in quizzes, questions, descriptions, and notes you submit. You give us permission to store, process, and display that content as needed to provide and maintain the service. You must have the rights and permissions needed for the content and participant information you provide.

Do not submit unlawful, infringing, threatening, discriminatory, or abusive content. Do not post sensitive personal information about other people. Hosts are responsible for appropriately supervising their games and choosing content suitable for their audience.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to bypass authentication, guess other players’ personal PINs, interfere with games, exploit security weaknesses, overload the service, or access information you are not authorized to see. Do not use the service for unlawful activity. We may restrict access or remove content where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, or legal requirements.

Availability and stored records

We aim to keep the service usable, but availability, uninterrupted play, and permanent storage are not guaranteed. Maintenance, provider outages, connection problems, and software errors can interrupt a game. Keep your own copy of important quiz content.

Game sessions expire after 90 days of inactivity and their join codes may be reused. Historical records may remain after session expiration. Deleting content or resetting a game can remove information or change scores. Contact us for account or personal-information deletion requests; see the Privacy Policy for details.

Third-party services

The application uses Supabase and Vercel, and offers optional Google sign-in. Your use of third-party accounts and services is also subject to their terms and policies. We do not control their availability or account decisions.

Disclaimers and limits

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will be error-free, meet every need, or remain continuously available. To the extent permitted by law, I8N Tech LLC is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including loss of quiz content, game progress, or anticipated results.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Changes and contact

We may improve, modify, or discontinue features and update these terms. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated where required by law. If you disagree with updated terms, stop using the service.
